Background: Family interactions play a pivotal role in shaping well-being across physical, psychological, and social domains. While substantial research has focused on the nutritional physical health benefits of family meals, impact shared cooking dining practices psychological flourishing overall remains underexplored. Objectives: This study examines relationships among function, culinary practices, flourishing, well-being, with particular emphasis mediating moderating roles flourishing. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted involving 461 participants from Chinese families diverse structures Taipei, Taiwan. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis, as well mediation moderation analyses, to assess interrelationships between well-being.
