Abstract Post‐agrarian questions arise from the collision of existing socio‐ecological forms, intimately tied to agriculture, and new economic cultural realities that are reworking land relations. This Symposium challenges both conventional views agrarian transition Marxist formulations by probing space between arrival opportunities durability rurality. Taking our cue postcolonial studies, we ask how lived experiences, intergenerational struggles, institutional ecological structures more days exert force on present. present a methodological imperative think historically often ethnographically, moving beyond teleological theories unite city countryside into single field with differentiated histories.
