This work presents an advancement in a theory of career problem-solving and decision-making, namely, Cognitive Information Processing (CIP). New conceptualizations the Pyramid domains CASVE Cycle are defined discussed. Developmental aspects, internal aspects external presses decision context, role self-regulated learning presented with implications for counseling fostering transferable decision-making skills. The metacognitive aspect CIP has been expanded to discuss new considerations beliefs, experiences, knowledge reflecting on process. Suggestions further avenues research proposed based theoretical modifications presented.
