studies

re-inclusion
can

recovery
from
exclusion-induced
distress.

Chinese
college
students
participated
experiment.
Results
showed
(1)

effective
when
equal

re-inclusion)

greater
than

over-re-inclusions)

but
ineffective
below

re-inclusion);
(2)
positively
predicted
recovery,
moderated
self-esteem—the
prediction
for
participants
with
middle
self-esteem,
not
low
self-esteem.
