Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the home healthcare industry, with increased rates of burnout and stress among homecare rehabilitation professionals (hcRPs). This study aimed to (1) examine nature occupational at a large care organization in Ontario, Canada, transitioning out pandemic, (2) assess its impact on work participation engagement. Methods: We conducted cross-sectional survey using National Institute for Occupational Safety Health Generic Job Stress Questionnaire Copenhagen Burnout Inventory job stress. Results: One hundred thirty-nine participants identified that are more likely occur when one struggles cope, experiences unexpected circumstances, feels lack control, which can lead anger emotional exhaustion. adjusted odds ratio exhaustion was 5.46, indicating probability experiencing increases as increases. Significant associations were found between coping daily tasks levels burnout. Conclusion: Work influence coping, circumstances work–life. Furthermore, highlighting need provide organizational support policies specifically address these issues sector.

Home health physical therapy plays a crucial role in patient recovery and return to the home environment following hospitalization. Despite significant presence of therapists therapist assistants health, there has been limited research on professional ethical challenges they face. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these challenges, including triaging patients, balancing rights with public safety, resource allocation, moral distress, lack protective equipment, burnout, organizational challenges. purpose this study was explore issues encountered by PTs PTAs care settings during pandemic. This qualitative employed virtual semi-structured interviews 15 (n = 12) 3) issues. Reflexive thematic analysis produced 4 major themes: silo effect, caring for pouring from an empty cup, constant conflicts individuals organizations. Purpose Homecare rehabilitation professionals (hcRPs) play a critical role in promoting client independence and health management home community settings. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated burnout, mental challenges occupational stress among hcRPs, negatively affecting job satisfaction, care quality retention. This study aims to examine factors influencing satisfaction Canadian hcRPs transitioning out of pandemic. Design/methodology/approach is part larger mixed-methods research project investigating burnout hcRPs. Quantitative data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from sample 100 English-speaking employed by large organization. Descriptive analyses conducted, two logistic regression models developed: one analyzing demographic predictors other focusing on experiences. Findings Higher levels social supervisory support lower work significantly associated with greater satisfaction. These results underscore importance targeted workplace interventions enhance implement stress-reduction measures. Originality/value provides evidence-based insights into for an often-overlooked workforce facing unique post-COVID-19.
