Ceramic coatings exhibit wear-resistant and damping characteristics that attenuate system vibrations, enhancing the overall surface performance of system. This investigation involved a ceramic coating (Al 2 O 3 –40%TiO ) deposition onto an SS 304 substrate through thermally flame spraying process. The study encompassed characterization morphology coated using field emission scanning electron microscope energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy techniques. It was observed possesses dense structure with fully melted regions splat is uniformly distributed throughout cross-section. average measured microhardness roughness value 812 HV 2.55 µm, respectively. Furthermore, this sought to experimentally determine ratio for both uncoated substrates, it aimed evaluate their properties by analyzing amplitude fast Fourier transform plot. substrates are 0.021316 0.016557 logarithmic decrement method, whereas 0.021174 0.016244 half-power bandwidth material increases ratio, natural frequency, ultimately stiffness.

This study presents the fabrication of pinecone-structured ZnO microparticles using a solvothermal method, which were subsequently applied to steel surfaces in combination with epoxy resin and perfluorosilane create superhydrophobic coating, termed FluoroZnO-Fe. The low surface energy micro-nano hierarchical structure prepared coating significantly enhance its water repellency reduces adhesion, resulting contact angle as high 161° sliding 2°. FluoroZnO-Fe demonstrated exceptional stability. Its remains above 150° below 5° even after treated mechanical abrasion, temperatures, exposure acidic alkaline environments. Importantly, when subjected heated circulating brine, exhibited remarkable anti-scaling properties, achieving 93.4% reduction scale deposition compared untreated bare steel. research highlights potential coatings for industrial applications where corrosion resistance self-cleaning properties are critical.
