Abstract
Introduction
During
an
infectious
disease
outbreak,
primary
preventive
pre-exposure
vaccination
(PPV)
could
substantially
increase
the
potential
for
its
control,
if
uptake
is
sufficiently
high.
An
important
tool
to
PPV
uptake,
are
communication
strategies,
with
tailored
messages
targeted
modify
determinants
uptake.
Here,
we
take
example
of
2022
mpox
multicountry
as
inform
development
strategies
by
applying
a
theoretical
framework
selecting
effective
strategies.
Methods
The
Intervention
Mapping
(IM)
was
applied
during
outbreak
communications
[program].
Steps
included:

Creating
logic
model
problem

PPV]
reviewing
available
literature,
conducting
online
survey
among
people
at
risk
exposure,
and
consulting
community-members,
healthcare-and
professionals;
