Background/Objectives: Dementia is a syndrome which involves cognitive and motor problems such as memory control that impacts the individuals’ quality of life. In mental imagery (MI) technique, acts are mentally rehearsed without any overt body movements. The aim this study was to investigate effectiveness MI on life, cognitive, emotional status older adults with an early stage dementia. Methods: present randomized controlled trial consisted 160 participants. sample from Athens Day Care Center Alzheimer Association (a) exercise group (intervention group, n = 55), (b) only (1st 52), (c) neither nor (2nd 53). Participants engaged in total 24 physiotherapy sessions, each lasting approximately 45 min, scheduled twice weekly over 12-week period. They performed three assessments: one week prior program, half months, after program. intervention 30 min program content immediately following every session. Walking While Talking Test (WWITT), Euro-Qol 5-Dimensions 5-Level severity scale (Euro-Qol 5D-5L scale), Short-Form Geriatric Depression Scale (SF-GDS), Short Anxiety Screening (SAST) were used assess status, Results: A participants (43 men, 117 women, MMSE M 23.20 SD 0.15) took part most reported holding university degree (n 77), married 101), had loss 1st symptom dementia (n= 117).
