ABSTRACT This quasi‐experimental study aims to investigate the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AIVA app) within an interactive music‐learning environment. The ANCOVA was used compare performance students using Artificial Intelligence Virtual Artist (AIVA) and those studying with traditional lecture‐based instructions. Students in AIVA group quickly mastered new material reported interest theoretical part course. lecture showed opposite trend. Future research can involve a larger sample 3–5 universities student across Europe, Asia Americas. It is also worth considering main shortcomings existing online systems for music generation. results suggest that instructions are less effective than teaching music. However, it seems important have direct interactions during class; otherwise, will lose interest, pay attention report fatigue.
