The loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) is a significant freshwater economic fish in China, renowned for its tender meat, delicious taste, and high nutritional value. It widely distributed across the country, except western plateau. However, currently at risk of population decline degradation wildlife resources. Research on genetic diversity provides crucial foundation conservation development these To enhance protection utilization wild germplasm resources, we analyzed structure 60 populations from Xiangtan City (XT), Shaoyang (SY), Yueyang (XY) Hunan, Guilin (GL) Guiping (GP) Guangxi, Wuhan (WH) Hubei. Additionally, mapped DNA fingerprints loaches using 12 high-quality SNP sites. Whole genome resequencing (WGRS) was conducted six regions, yielding total 1047.17 Gb raw data 1046.98 clean data. From this 2,812,906 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified, which 10,022 core SNPs selected to analyze structure, used assess fingerprint. analysis revealed that samples could be grouped into three clusters: Cluster A comprised XT, SY, XY groups; B included WH group; C consisted GL GP groups. mean nucleic acid (Pi), heterozygosity (Ho), expected (He) markers 0.130, 0.140, 0.123, respectively. average inbreeding coefficient 0.552, indicating levels inbreeding. an effective high-throughput approach identifying information describing relationships within genus. fingerprinting based marker technology can accurately variation natural populations, making it valuable tool strain identification. Our findings provide scientific basis conservation, development, optimal breeding native resources contribute expanding database populations.

(2) In terms meat quality: BKF4's overall quality falls between SK, two main influencing factors. The key factors affecting include pH45, intramuscular fat (IMF), nutrient index (NI), PUFAs / MUFAs, n-6 FAs, drip loss (DL). water retention, crude protein increased, while content incresed compared to ash decreased. Amino acid composition is similar GB, taste closer SK. Nevertheless, the fatty functionality had negative impacts. Continued improvement will be made through selective breeding livestock management practices like feeding.

The application of heterosis can not only effectively improve the disease resistance and meat quality livestock, but also significantly enhance reproduction growth livestock poultry. We conducted genome-wide association studies using data from F2 crossbred rabbits to screen out candidate genes with significant dominant effects associated economic trait variation. High-throughput sequencing technology was used obtain SNPs covering whole genome evaluate homozygosity population genome, analyze number, length, frequency, distribution ROHs in population. Candidate related traits were searched based on high-frequency ROH regions. After control filtering genotype data, 380 identified 78,579 42,018 autosomes. fitting Logistic curve model showed that 49-day-old a inflection point. Then, through studies, 10 SNP loci seven found be body weight at 84 days age. In addition, we revealed functional roles locations 20 region rabbits. Lvliang black goat (LBG) is an excellent local breed resource in China that known for its fur, meat quality, and strong adaptability. Studying the genetic mechanism germplasm characteristics of LBG can provide theoretical practical basis protection resources this help implement conservation breeding. In study, diversity population was evaluated using whole-genome SNP data. It found had a high low degree inbreeding. According to clustering results male goats relationship between individuals, divided into 13 families. Then, through structure analysis, it close with Nanjiang Qinggoda populations, they may have same ancestors. The has retained some ancient special integrates foreign gene flow. Through four selection signal analyses, we detected multiple candidate genes related economic traits (CFL2, SCD, NLRP14, etc.) adaptability (C4BPA, FUT8, PRNP, population. addition, comparative analysis three commercial breeds (Saanen goat, Boer Angora goat) also physical (ERG, NRG3, EDN3, etc.). Finally, performed functional enrichment on these explored their mechanisms. This study provides important data support breeding new perspective enriching populations.
