This study aimed to investigate COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and related factors in individuals with mental disorders Korea. We surveyed 572 about their attitudes toward vaccination using a 7-item self-rating questionnaire on hesitancy. We categorized the respondents into groups based level of hierarchical clustering. In addition, we evaluated respondents' status trust sources information regarding vaccines, assessed psychological characteristics Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Gratitude Questionnaire-6, Big Five Inventory-10.Clustering revealed three according acceptance: 'totally accepting' (n= 246, 43.0%), 'somewhat 184, 32.2%), 'hesitant' 142, 24.8%) groups. Three quarters all participants, who belonged or groups, were willing receive despite concerns its side effects. Many these trials used adaptive methods address pandemic's challenges, such as need for rapid recruitment. These allow modifications trial procedures without undermining trial's integrity, making research process more flexible and efficient. However, recruiting participants remains considerable challenge. aim this qualitative evidence synthesis (QES) is explore factors that influence person's decision participate in trial. Background: The World Health Organization has set a target of at least 70% the global population being vaccinated by middle 2022. There are only 17 countries that achieved vaccination rate (VR). This study aims to analyze effectiveness public policies increase COVID-19 VR. Methods: figures all eligible groups in Hong Kong from 22 February 2021 23 January 2022, were extracted for analysis. Weekly acceleration VR (AVR) was calculated as measure policy effectiveness. A total 13 identified measures classified into four categories: eligibility, accessibility, incentives, and restrictions. Age-weighted AVR (AWAVR) compared age group presence vs. absence using Mann−Whitney U tests. Results: AWAVR means across ranged −1.26% +0.23% (p = 0.12) eligibility; accessibility +0.18% +1.51% < 0.0001); incentives +0.11% +0.68% restrictions +0.02% +1.25% 0.0001). IntroductionOlder adults are subject to higher COVID-19 infection and mortality rates. Safety immunogenicity of MVC-COV1901, a protein subunit vaccine have been demonstrated in phase 2 clinical trial for the general population, negative correlations observed between immune responses age, however, older were under-represented.MethodsA double-blind, randomized, multi-center study compared safety high-dose (25 mcg) mid-dose (15 MVC-COV1901 administered times 28 days apart 420 participants 65 years older. The results stratified by comorbidity status.ResultsBoth high regimens elicited mostly mild adverse events robust when measured as neutralizing binding antibodies titers. High doses better group without comorbidities.ConclusionGiven population-associated we recommend dose immunization elder with MVC-COV1901. was registered at https://clinicaltrials.gov/ (NCT04822025).
