Abstract
For
parents,
the
perinatal
period
is
a
challenging
time
of
growth,
so
when
crisis
occurs
and
parents
perceive
threat
to
their
infant’s
well-being,
they
are
vulnerable
trauma,
pathogenic
memories,
ensuing
disruption
parental
development.
Whether
infant
lives
or
dies,
can
experience
multiple
losses
intertwining
bereavement
traumatic
stress.
Practitioners
soften
trauma’s
impact
by
providing
trauma-informed
care,
particularly
in
form
developmentally
supportive
care
that
fosters
parent–infant
relationship,
emotional
regulation,
relationships.
Another

Kangaroo
mother
care
(KMC)
