Abstract Background In 2018, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) issued multiple recommendations to optimize care within first 12 weeks postpartum. We explored extent which clinicians follow ACOG’s at postpartum visit identified factors associated with overall adherence clinical recommendations. Methods Between September 2023 February 2024, we collected data from an online survey about practices 174 obstetric practicing in California. The response rate was 76%. Adherence measured by asking always complete components drawn a list 26 used descriptive statistics ran linear regression models quantify association between guidelines years practice, proportion patients utilizing Medi-Cal, method reimbursement received provider, perceived organizational, financial patient barriers, duration number collaborations other providers.
