Objective This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to assess the knowledge awareness of oral cancer risk factors among medical dental students. Methods study followed PRISMA guidelines was registered in INPLASY (ID: 2024110035). Four databases were consulted (PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus, Web Science) from February 20th, 2005, May 10th, 2024. The selection data extraction process performed independently by 2 investigators. bias assessed using JBI tool, which can be found at: https://jbi.global/critical-appraisal-tools . A third investigator case disagreement. Meta-analysis results systematically illustrated a forest plot expressed as odds ratio with 95% confidence interval. I statistic heterogeneity between studies.
