The aim of this paper is to study the features quality life in patients with depressive disorders, taking into account age and gender.Clinically examined 107 men 138 women disorders (ICD-10 codes F31.3, F31.4,F32.0, F32.1, F32.2, F33.0, F33.1, F33.2) using Multicultural Quality Life Index.Depressive are accompanied by a significant deterioration patients, principally psychological (emotional) well-being.In general, indicators decrease as age; showed lower self-reported most areas, these differences were statistically younger middle groups.The assessments specialist turned out be significantly (p<0.001) higher than self-assessments for all areas life, especially women.The closest self-esteem assessment well-being, largest found interpersonal functioning, social-emotional support, community services personal fulfillment, spiritual overall life.While subjectively note greatest between ages 30 44, while according specialist's assessment, decreases at over 45, women.

Natural disasters cause long term psychological consequences, especially post-traumatic stress disorders. It has been regarded as the most prevalent of psychiatric disorders after a natural disaster. The purpose this study is to estimate prevalence Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and determine its associated factors in adult survivors three years 2015 Nepal earthquake.A cross-sectional descriptive design was used where 1076 adults within age range 19-65 were randomly selected interviewed from four adversely affected districts due earthquake. Instruments included demographic questionnaire, an earthquake exposure Oslo Social Support Scale (OSSS), Post-traumatic Checklist-Civilian Version (PCL-C). Descriptive inferential statistics applied using Statistical Package for Science (SPSS) 16 data analysis.The PTSD among 18.9%. multivariate logistic regression showed that gender, ethnicity, education, occupation, social support severity damage house property significantly with PTSD.
