Chinese people experienced a nationwide coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic after the adjustment of epidemic response policies from December 2022 to January 2023. This study aims explore prevalence mental and cognitive symptoms their associated factors among medical students COVID-19 pandemic.A cross-sectional was conducted between February 27th March 8th, The anxiety, depression, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), function were examined using Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Athens Insomnia Scale (AIS), Impact Event Scale-6 (IES-6), Perceived Deficits Questionnaire-Depression-5 (PDQ-D-5). Data on demographic information also collected. Statistical analyses describe symptoms.Among 947 participants, proportion experiencing PTSD 37.8, 39.3, 28.3, 29.5%, respectively. self-reported infection rate 72.2%. Higher grades, childhood, current rural residence identified as potential risk for symptoms. Gender, age, average monthly household income, diagnosis not with students.Our findings revealed high pandemic. Special attention should be paid health higher-grade those residing in areas.

Compared control group, showed significant reduction scores, as reflected Hamilton Depression Scale (standardized mean difference [SMD] = –1.50, 95% confidence interval [CI]: –2.25~–0.75); risk rate [RR] 1.96, CI: 0.66~5.82), Self-Rating (SMD –0.91, –1.15~–0.67), Patient Health Questionnaire scores –0.94, –1.46~–0.41; all p < 0.01). Background Chronic insomnia disorder (CID) is usually associated with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), which may change brain structure and function. However, the possible markers, imaging characteristics, pathophysiology are unknown. Objective To look at probable pathogenesis of CID in combination GAD. Methods A total 57 patients concomitant GAD healthy controls (HC) were enrolled. Voxel-based morphometry (VBM) functional connectivity (FC) utilized to measure gray matter volume (GMV) changes. Correlation analysis was identify relationships between changes clinical characteristics. Results Patients had decreased GMV left cerebellum, right cerebellar peduncle, insula; increased FC cerebellum angular gyrus, as well insula anterior cingulate gyrus; several areas, including middle gyrus superior postcentral gyrus. Abstract Background: The 2022 Shanghai COVID-19 lockdown may bring about great psychological problems to patients. We aimed examine the prevalence and correlates of mental health among patients. Methods: 208 patients were recruited in Shanghai, China through convenience sampling method. Demographic scales questionnaires (GAD-7, PHQ-9, ISI, IES-R) applied. Binary logistic regression analysis was adopted detect associated factors. Results: incidence rates anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD 6.7%, 12.0%, 9.6%, 23.1% under stage lockdown, respectively. The results indicated that married subjects (OR=19.69, 95% CI= [2.26-171.86], P<0.01) showed higher levels whereas who had college degree or above (OR=0.19, [0.04-0.86], P<0.05) respondents children (OR=0.04, [0.04-0.47], might experience lower anxiety. female have less insomnia (OR=0.33, [0.12-0.89], P<0.05). Conclusion: Special attention interventions should be paid infected patients, especially for people being married, obtaining educational degree, having no child, male.
