ABSTRACT Background Through an in‐depth exploration of mental health family carers' experiences during the COVID‐19 pandemic in Australia, this co‐produced study identified recommendations for advocacy, practice and policy implications to uphold carer wellbeing. Ziel der vorliegenden Studie war es, spezifische Belastungen sowie Bewältigungsstrategien bei Angehörigen von mit psychischen Erkrankungen zu untersuchen. Methoden Für wurde ein Fragebogen zur Erfassung Corona-Pandemie-bedingter Einflüsse auf entwickelt. Insgesamt nahmen 228 Angehörige zwischen März bis Juni 2021 an Befragung teil. Ergebnisse Mehr als 87% berichteten, dass sie Erkrankung ihrer erkrankten belastet seien. Viele Befragten beschrieben subjektiv hilfreiche wie Wertschätzung gesunder Anteile. Schlussfolgerung sollten in Krisenzeiten, Versorgungsstrukturen Unterstützungsangebote sensibel ausgerichtet kontinuierlich vorgehalten werden.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic constitutes one of the greatest recent public crises. This study explored its influence on lives and care realities people with a schizophrenia spectrum disorder (SSD). Methods: Between October 2020 April 2021, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted 30 volunteers SSDs receiving inpatient or outpatient treatment in Vienna (Austria). Interviews audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim analysed thematically. Results: Three main themes identified. First, ‘Pandemic life is deprived, lonely surreal – though certain aspects can be perceived as positive’. Second, ‘Bio-psycho-social support systems struck at their core by left severely compromised’. In this study we investigate psychological impact associated with living under these circumstances among patients psychotic disorders receiving care from specialized mental health services in Norway.During early phases lockdown, and clinicians providing for at Oslo University Hospital asked fill out questionnaires developed study. 129 participants outpatient clinics (91 38 clinicians) 89 inpatient wards (15 74 recruited.
