Abstract
COVID-19
testing
is
an
important
risk
mitigation
strategy
for
prevention
in
school
settings,
where
the
virus
continues
to
pose
a
public
health
challenge
in-person
learning.
Socially
vulnerable
communities
with
highest
proportion
of
low-income,
minority,
and
non-English
speaking
families
have
least
access
despite
shouldering
disproportionate
burden
morbidity
mortality.
Through
Safer
at
School
Early
Alert
(SASEA)
program,
we
investigated
community
perceptions
San
Diego
County
schools,
focus
on
barriers
facilitators
from
perspective
socially
parents
staff.
Using
mixed-methods
approach,
administered
survey
conducted
group
discussions
(FGDs)
staff
SASEA-affiliated
schools
childcares.
We
recruited
299
respondents
42
FGD
participants.
Protecting

Implementation

qualitative

OBJECTIVES
Understanding
the
motivators
and
barriers
to
testing
enrollment
from
different
stakeholder
perspectives
is
