Background: Body image perception can significantly influence various aspects of adolescent lives. The study analyzed the relationship between body satisfaction and sports participation in adolescents, examining factors that contribute to concerns their implications for engagement. Methods: A total 237 schoolchildren were recruited from lower secondary Italian schools. Anthropometric characteristics measured directly. Assessment was performed using Silhouette Charts preadolescent children. version International Physical Activity Questionnaire Adolescents questionnaire administered assess physical activity (PA) levels at school during leisure time last 7 days.
