Leprosy, though curable, continues to present physical and psychosocial challenges for those affected. This study explored how individuals affected by leprosy in Malaysia navigated daily life, societal expectations, personal through the walk-and-talk technique, a participant-led qualitative approach that fostered spontaneous storytelling reflexivity. By guiding researchers their environments, participants shaped narrative, shifting power dynamics enabling authentic dialogue. Six from Kelantan Selangor shared everyday activities, aspirations, coping strategies. Video documentation was used as supplementary tool capture non-verbal cues contextual interactions. Visual, auditory, field data were transcribed thematically analysed using NVivo 12, revealing key themes, including resilience perseverance, employment economic sustenance, stigma, family support, community engagement. Work emerged central well-being, fostering dignity providing financial stability. However, self-imposed stigma limited social inclusion, while strong familial bonds provided crucial support. These findings highlighted effectiveness of technique capturing rich emphasised need tailored interventions address enhance support well-being stability leprosy.
