Background: Diabetes is a lifelong chronic condition that becoming more common in both industrialized and developing countries. People who have diabetes are likely than those do not to experience wide range of illnesses. Aim: measure the knowledge attitude among diabetic adolescents find their relationship with socio-demographic features patients, families, clinical history, family lifestyle features. Patient methods: Cross -sectional study carried out at endocrine center included 300 Adolescents aged 13–19 years were diagnosed mellitus by clinicians attended from October first, 2023, February 2024. The questionnaire included: - Socio-demographic participants Knowledge about Diseases, patient toward disease, SPSS version 26 was used analyze data P value≤ 0.05 considered statistically significant. Results: patients' mean scores significantly higher for older age group urban residence, level education, parents, history longer duration disease current smoking. (P< 0.05), high score found retired fathers mothers. engaged patients. Conclusion: result present showed two-third had good while only half score. age, living areas, lived 5 years, smoking significant determinants attitude.
