As interest in weight management and metabolic health grows, thermogenic supplements have gained attention for their potential to enhance caloric expenditure fat loss. This study aimed investigate the effects of chronic supplement ingestion on body composition strength outcomes during an 8-week periodized resistance training program. Thirty-four resistance-trained males were randomized into supplementation (TS) (n = 18) or placebo 16) groups a double-blind, placebo-controlled design. Participants consumed capsules daily, with dosage adjusted midway through intervention. Body was assessed using ultrasound-based analysis, measured via bench press back squat one-repetition maximum (1-RM) tests. Results indicated that TS experienced significantly greater reductions mass (−0.65 kg vs. 0.12 kg, p 0.029) percentage (−0.89% −0.08%, 0.039) compared placebo. Both demonstrated significant comparable improvements (TS: 16.87 placebo: 18.47 kg) 7.80 7.13 kg). These findings suggest can loss without impeding adaptations. Future research should explore dose–response applicability thermogenics different populations over extended durations.

Background: Previous research has linked high coffee consumption to an increased risk of metabolic syndrome (MetS). This study aimed assess the relationship between and MetS components among Saudi adults. Methods: A cross-sectional was performed on adults who met at least three criteria for a diagnosis. Data concerning demographics, lifestyle, sleeping patterns, medical health, anthropometric measurements, habitual drinking, lab levels HDL-C, LDL-C, TC, TGs, HbA1c, FBG were collected. Results: Of 95 participants, 51% women, 75.8% >50 years old, obese, 62% used practicing physical activity, 74.5% never smoked, 56.4% slept < 7 h/day, 89.5% consumers. these, 94.7% had waist circumference, 63.2% BP, 47.4% FBG, 41.1% low HDL, 23.2% TGs. For consumers, 37.6% drank small cup, 34.5% once daily, 89.4% Arabic coffee, 75.3% added no additives. Conclusions: No significant association found patterns any component, with exception elevated which strongly associated cup size number daily cups. Waist circumference BMI strong positive correlation size, there cups, BMI, TC. Further prospective studies are needed establish causal relationship.

A large percentage of college-aged girls suffer from premenstrual syndrome (PMS). This mixed-methods approach aimed to adopt a statistical exploration the factors influencing PMS. The coping measure (PCM) and an introductory Information Form were used collect quantitative data for study, while semi-structured form was collecting qualitative through individual interviews. Prospective symptom screening using 15-item Calendar Premenstrual Experience (COPE) assess PMS symptoms. Strategies managing symptoms during their periods evaluated use self-report questionnaire. Logistic regression multivariate identify relationship between associated factors. results depicted significant correlation with demographic characters. are also well correlated high levels stress physical activity at p level <0.05. In addition, predictive modeling explored association poor sleep activity. findings research highlight importance early detection prevalent groups by adopting relevant tools providing possible opportunity target intervention study. Participants reported methods detailed in this research. Healthcare providers should be cognizant challenges faced students offer extensive health services assist them syndrome.
