Background: Antiplatelet (APL) therapy (TH) plays a crucial role in preventing thrombotic (TRB) events patients with cardiovascular diseases. However, its application dental clinical practice remains topic of debate due to concerns regarding bleeding (BL) complications during invasive procedures (PRC). Objective: This systematic review aims evaluate the efficacy and safety APL drugs PRCs, assess risk BL complications, examine existing guidelines for managing on TH. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted PubMed, Scopus, Web Science studies published from January 1, 2004 2024. Eligible included randomized controlled trials, observational studies, evaluating use PRCs. Data outcomes (e.g., prevention TRB events), complications), adherence were extracted synthesized. Results: total 28 review, comprising guidelines. The findings suggest that discontinuation TH before PRCs may increase without significantly reducing complications. evidence associated is inconclusive. Existing vary their recommendations TH, highlighting need standardized protocols. Conclusion: essential high-risk patients, not be warranted most cases. further research needed clarify develop evidence-based these practice. Standardized protocols considering both are ensuring optimal patient care.

Abstract Background Legal guardians frequently serve as role models for their children. The habits they instill in children may prove effective strategies establishing healthy oral hygiene behaviors. present study examined the factors associated with level of health knowledge, attitudes, and practices among legal preschool Peruvian capital. Furthermore, correlation between was assessed. Methods This cross-sectional, analytical evaluated 560 from 30 private educational institutions July December 2022. A validated 20-question questionnaire employed to assess guardians’ regarding health. Pearson’s chi-squared test Fisher’s exact were utilized bivariate analysis. For multivariate analysis, a Poisson regression model robust variance applied using adjusted prevalence ratio (APR). Statistical significance set at p < 0.05. Abstract Backgrounds: Limited evidence suggested that the Health Belief Model (HBM) had been used to explain how children were influenced by their mothers' health behaviors amid rapid increase in international marriages Taiwan. This study aimed explore beliefs of immigrant and Taiwanese mothers regarding children's dental caries status using HBM. Methods: employed a cross-sectional design. A total 157 mothers, 29 from China, 64 Southeast Asia purposively selected 11 elementary schools. Each participant completed structured questionnaire included socio-demographic information, lifestyle habits, self-perceived oral beliefs, hygiene behaviors. Dental records aged 6-12 obtained local dentists at each school. Results: scored significantly higher perceived susceptibility, severity, benefit compared China Asia. However, there no significant differences among three groups. multiple linear regression model, adjusted for covariates, indicated scores associated with lower children. Conclusion: While environmental genetic factors children, our findings demonstrated mother's affected her status.

Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive was conducted. total 773 were examined (257 CSN 516 CWSCN). OHRQoL assessed using Modified Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP).
