The article presents the results of a survey elderly residents in Rivne region to determine prevalence periodontal diseases. Objective. To analyze and structure tissue diseases among patients region. Materials methods. A total 500 individuals aged 60 75 were examined divided into three age groups: group I included 183 60-64, II consisted 153 65-69, III 164 70-75. All participants underwent clinical radiological examinations, diagnosis was established. For each group, various determined, indicators analyzed separately by gender. Results discussion. According results, lesions diagnosed 449 (89.8%), while only 51 (10.2%) had intact periodontium. higher males, with 236 men (93.7%) 213 women (85.9%) affected. Generalized periodontitis most common condition disease structure, 308 (68.6%), followed periodontosis 111 cases (24.7%), chronic catarrhal gingivitis 20 (4.5%), localized 10 (2.2%). Conclusions. is 89.6%, advanced stages increasing older groups. are predominant structure.

Objective Surgery represents the primary therapeutic modality for lung cancer, typically administered promptly following diagnosis. Accessing pertinent information and making well-informed decisions are imperative to navigate this challenging stage. This study aimed explore preoperative cancer patients’ experiences related health information-seeking process, based on methodological characteristics of behaviour (HISB). Design The used a qualitative descriptive design, adhering Consolidated Criteria Reporting Qualitative Research guidelines. 23 participants were purposively selected semistructured interviews. Data analysis was conducted using inductive conventional content analysis. Setting in thoracic surgery ward tertiary hospital located China. Participants A total participants, consisting 12 males 11 females, recruited. Eligible patients with aged 18 above, capable articulate expression, informed about their diagnosis, preparing surgical intervention willing engage voluntarily study. Results Four main categories identified. exhibited different psychological coping strategies personalised needs behaviour. Artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT have gained attention for their potential to support patient education by providing accessible, evidence-based information. This study compares the performance of 3.5 and 4.0 in answering common questions about low back pain, focusing on response quality, readability, adherence clinical guidelines, while also addressing models' limitations managing psychosocial concerns. Thirty frequently asked pain were categorized into 4 groups: Diagnosis, Treatment, Psychosocial Factors, Management Approaches. Responses generated evaluated 3 key metrics: 1) quality: rated a scale 1 (excellent) (unsatisfactory); 2) DISCERN criteria: evaluating reliability with scores ranging from (low reliability) 5 (high reliability; 3) readability: assessed using 7 readability formulas, including Flesch-Kincaid Gunning Fog Index. significantly outperformed quality across all categories, mean score 1.03 compared 2.07 (P < 0.001). demonstrated higher (4.93 vs. 4.00, P However, both versions struggled factor questions, where responses lower than = 0.04). concerns highlight need clinician oversight, particularly emotionally sensitive issues. Enhancing artificial intelligence's capability aspects care should be priority future iterations.
