Large-scale events like natural disasters and epidemics can have significant impacts on individuals' mental health worldwide. Thus, it is crucial to examine the psychological effects of such people. This study aimed investigate relationship between self-compassion, death distress, doomscrolling, resilience, among individuals affected by earthquakes. A total 364 Turkish adults earthquakes that occurred in Türkiye February 6, 2023, participated study. Structural equation modeling was utilized explore mediating roles doomscrolling resilience association self-compassion distress. The results structural indicated both mediated distress earthquake-affected individuals. These findings contribute understanding interplay context are expected inform future research endeavors.

The increasing burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in both low- and high-income ASEAN countries highlights an urgent need for effective management prevention strategies. These strategies are critical reducing premature deaths, alleviating the healthcare costs, saving lives. Unhealthy lifestyle behaviors, such as poor dietary habits, lack physical activity, alcohol consumption, inadequate sleep, significantly elevate risk metabolic syndrome other NCDs. Resilience is essential for medical students to navigate the challenges of their education and future careers. Defined as ability adapt well in face adversity, resilience can be learned critical maintaining mental health. Medical educators play a pivotal role fostering by integrating it into both formal informal curricula, including hidden curriculum, which significantly influence students’ coping strategies. Research highlights importance training reducing depression anxiety among students, underscoring its necessity core component education. This essay presents Systematic Assessment (SAR) framework, provides comprehensive approach promoting through four key constructs: self-control, management, engagement, growth.
