Introduction: The HIV/AIDS pandemic in Spanish prison institutions has led to a series of necessary changes adapt and provide an effective response. Materials Methods: This research was conducted from interpretative paradigm with phenomenological perspective, interpreting the experiences nursing professionals institutions. Focus groups were who worked before after emergence antiretroviral treatments through Microsoft Teams platform, using ATLAS Ti v.9 software. project received approval Ethics Committee UJI university. This study discusses the experiences of nurses in Spanish prisons during HIV/AIDS pandemic, emphasizing administrative changes and adaptive measures, such as creation Subdirectorate General Penitentiary Health. We describe penitentiary centers face HIV/AIDS. The interpretative phenomenological approach explored between 1981 2023 through focus groups convenience sampling. Participants were recruited telephone calls telematic meetings using Microsoft Teams. Four key themes identified: stigmatization inmates, nursing, importance training resources, equal treatment genders. nursing vision focused on gathering information, providing comprehensive patient support, sharing personal experiences. research provides a historical perspective adaptation prison to highlighting coping processes suggesting future lines guards, surveillance officers. highlight low media visibility pandemic prisons, underlining understanding valuing experience settings health crises.

To synthesize the evidence on nurses' experiences of their caring role during COVID-19 pandemic and identify emerging concepts that have affected nurses within in relation to (a) professional lives (b) personal lives. Studies published between January 2020 November 2023 were identified from following databases: Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Coronavirus Database, PUBMED, PsycINFO, PsycArticles, Scopus, Web Science, SocINDEX. Reporting Method. review adhered Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis Extension Scoping Review (PRISMA-ScR) checklist. search 1,347 studies, subsequent title abstract, resulted 117 full-text papers further eligibility screening, with total 52 studies being included Findings grouped thematically using Braun Clarke (2006) approach. five distinctive themes emerged emotional turmoil, erosion care, (c) relationships solidarity, (d) expansion role, (e) growth. During pandemic, there was an evolutionary shift nurse, trajectory turmoil process followed theoretical framework transformative learning could support capability preparedness inevitable extreme events healthcare. Implications Management. Mapping current knowledge perspective purposefully aims highlight gaps research, education, policy crisis.
