OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to evaluate the independent and interactive effects of changes in overtime night shifts on burnout among nurses during COVID-19 pandemic. METHODS: Nurses working an Italian university hospital (N=317) completed Maslach Burnout Inventory September 2019 again December 2020. Based administrative data, same years were categorized into three groups each. Linear regressions used estimate 2020 differences between exposure groups, controlling for levels, demographic work-related characteristics, test interaction two exposures. A Síndrome de Burnout (SB) é uma condição clínica que afeta principalmente profissionais saúde, caracterizando-se por exaustão emocional, despersonalização e baixa realização pessoal.
