Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic generated concerns about people’s life and future globally. Regarding education, students worldwide faced problems (personal, social and/or economic) to continue studying. In this study, we investigated the perceptions of Brazilian undergraduate who received university assistance during pandemic, examining positive negative aspects remote learning assessing impact on student retention at university. Methods 127 participated in study. Data was obtained through an online survey. snowball technique used collect data. Results Being close family, reduced expenses campus, flexible schedules, ability review lessons related materials outside class were factors listed by students. These may have contributed reducing stress caused COVID-19, increasing course completion rate, improving student’s quality life. On contrary, participants reported aspects, such as lack internet access, excess activities, teaching quality, inadequate study environments, family-related problems, insufficient technology tools. Discussion Despite fears insecurities, brought students, our found that help offered proved be beneficial, positively impacting development retention. Notably, 89 participating (70.08%) completed all courses without experiencing any personal, social, or educational setbacks pandemic.

Introduction: The rising prevalence of chronic diseases such as diabetes poses significant challenges to healthcare systems globally, requiring specialized care and management. Nurses play an essential role in educating caring for patients, but current continuing education programs often fail meet the practical needs clinical settings. Methods: This study used a qualitative descriptive-interpretative approach, conducting semi-structured interviews with 24 nurses working primary hospital settings across Spain. focused on their experiences, perceptions, educational care. A thematic analysis was performed identify key trends insights. Results: emphasized importance ongoing building professional confidence improving patient outcomes. However, they reported barriers, including limited time, high costs, lack focus existing training programs. Participants favored hybrid learning models, which combine flexibility online hands-on experience in-person sessions. rural areas highlighted value virtual overcome geographic constraints, while those urban environments preferred approaches. Discrimination in education is commonly associated with face-to-face interactions between teachers and students. However, e-learning environments can also foster discrimination. Despite existing research on discrimination traditional education, limited studies address this issue virtual particularly nursing education. This study aimed to explore the factors contributing perceived among midwifery students, focusing underlying causes conditions that shape these experiences. A qualitative design was employed at school of Isfahan University Medical Sciences. Thirteen students were selected using purposeful convenient sampling. Data collected through semi-structured, in-depth interviews, analyzed content analysis. Factors categorized into four themes: (1) nature (e.g., teacher availability, reduced interaction); (2) professor-related experience, age, technology skills, inattention feedback); (3) student-related gender, financial issues, varying skills); (4) inadequate resources internet connectivity access materials). highlights multiple influencing students' perceptions e-learning. Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant disruptions to medical training worldwide, particularly for junior doctors, as in-person clinical was replaced by online education. This study aims assess the impact of on in Greece, focusing perceptions doctors across various specialties and exploring implications future practice. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey 465 all whom were members Athens Medical Association, from 14 September October 2022. Participants completed questionnaire assessing perceived their training, effectiveness education, potential consequences preparedness. Factor analysis identify underlying patterns related training.
