Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being, influencing how individuals think, feel, and perform. among healthcare students has become major concern, drawing attention due to its profound impact on their welfare, academic performance, ability effectively interact with patients. This paper aimed explore the experiences undergraduate facing mental challenges at Qatar University. With focus understanding factors contributing issues exploring coping mechanisms, research also sought identify students' recommendations for institutional support improve well-being. A qualitative approach using semi-structured face-to-face interviews was employed collect data. purposive sampling method used recruit from five disciplines- Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences Nursing- who had self-reported mild moderate depressive symptoms based Patient Questionnaire (PHQ-9) Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS21). total 15 were conducted, recorded, transcribed verbatim, thematic analysis key themes. Several themes emerged interviews, including pressure, social isolation, anxiety, fear failure, stigma surrounding support. Academic pressure consistently reported as stressor, anxiety emotional strain. Social isolation further exacerbated challenges, while many highlighted lack well-established strategies. Compassion fatigue is a significant concern globally, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, where the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated existing challenges, placing unprecedented strain on healthcare professionals. This study systematically estimated prevalence of compassion among professionals before and during Africa. A systematic review was conducted using keywords PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, grey literature, covering all literature published between 2012 December 30, 2023. Background/Objectives: Compassion Fatigue (CF) is a critical issue among healthcare professionals, exacerbated by exposure to trauma and chronic workplace stress. This pilot study evaluates the effectiveness of Mindfulness-Oriented Professional Resilience (MOPR) program, structured intervention designed mitigate CF enhance resilience in professionals. The program integrates mindfulness practices, arousal modulation techniques, resilience-building strategies over six weekly sessions. Methods: A sample 73 workers (mean age 48.6, SD = 9.42) participated study, pre-post data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA. Results: Results indicated significant improvements professional quality life, with increased Satisfaction (p < 0.001) reductions Burnout 0.003) Secondary Traumatic Stress 0.001). Severe staff shortages, sustained stress, low compassion satisfaction, high fatigue, and serious levels of burnout among healthcare workers were frequently reported during COVID-19. In this cross-sectional study with 760 care aides working in 28 LTC homes Alberta, Canada, we used a two-level multilevel regression model to examine how environments associated burnout, satisfaction measured the Professional Quality Life (ProQOL-9) scale. Our findings showed that higher lower observed when perceived more supportive culture. Care fatigue there was lack structural or staffing resources. (1) Background: The enduring impact of COVID-19 on the long-term care (LTC) sector remains uncertain, necessitating targeted efforts to address current and emerging challenges. This study aims identify key stressors faced by healthcare workers (HCWs) in LTC co-develop innovative, actionable strategies that mitigate these stressors, foster resilience, promote workforce retention. (2) Methods: utilized a qualitative co-design methodology within mixed-methods, multi-phase framework conducted between July 2023 October 2024. article focuses Phase 1, which involved 11 semi-structured focus groups steering group discussions with 24 HCWs, including personal support (PSWs), nurses, administrators across Ontario explore workplace-related distress shared understanding challenges sector. ABSTRACT Background Compassion fatigue is the emotional response generated by continuous exposure to human suffering and especially common among nursing professionals. Aim To synthesize information from primary studies that have used evaluated interventions aimed at managing compassion in Design A systematic review with meta‐analysis randomized nonrandomized control groups.
