Abstract Background Hospital staff frequently encounter high-stress situations, emergencies, and disasters, which profoundly impact their well-being resilience. The aim of the study was to examine associations between perceived threats, well-being, individual resilience, resilience at work among a general hospital, following unexpected Hamas assault on Israel October 7, 2023, during Israel-Gaza conflict. Methods This cross-sectional conducted central Israeli public level-two trauma center, surveying 434 members. Validated questionnaires were used assess alongside demographic professional characteristics. Data collected via Qualtrics paper questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, T-tests, ANOVA, Chi-square, linear regression models analyze relationships, differences, key factors associated with personal Results Key findings revealed that higher are linked greater while threat perception negatively affected well-being. Abstract Background Teamwork is a core competence for all health care professionals and quality of vital outcome. The pandemic backdrop 2020–2022 led to initial chaos adaptation the nurses’ roles responsibilities in intensive unit. Addressing cognitve medical errors (MEs) and their contributing factors has emerged as a crucial factor in enhancing patient safety attaining improved clinical outcomes. This study aimed to examine the impact of interaction dynamics professional capability development on cognitive MEs (i.e., mistakes, slips, or lapses) from perspectives healthcare professionals Jordan. A multiple-case design was employed with cross-sectional approach. Our investigated three prominent Jordanian hospitals northern region (government, private, teaching) through pretested, valid, reliable survey. Using convenience sampling, 400 participants occupational categories, including physicians, nurses, managers were invloved. The relationships among variables examined structural equation modeling (SEM) following Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) conducted using AMOS software. results CFA demonstrated that model fit indices are acceptable (RMSEA = 0.069; CFI 0.901; Chisq/df 2.92; p <.05). SEM analysis revealed significant positive association between gaps capacity development, which comprises subscales: training needs, continuous education, skills, abilities, competencies professionals, (β 0.40; In contrast, negative correlation found two interpersonal communication, teamwork mutual support, - 0.21; findings advocate for fostering hospital culture consolidates efforts prioritize care coordination, cohesion, while also minimizing unmet needs continuing addressing shortcomings skills job competence essential proactive steps migirate hospitals.

Abstract Background No sector was spared from the devastations of global COVID-19 pandemic, which subjected health workers to unrivalled distressing experiences owing strained systems. Despite documented evidence that exacerbated workers’ mental challenges in many parts world, there are limited qualitative data on how Windhoek, were affected. This study explored direct care patients infected with affected wellness Windhoek. Methods a using grounded theory design purposively recruit and interview until saturation, reached at 21 interviews. The interviews conducted English face-to-face, digitally recorded (with participants’ consent), transcribed word-for-word manually analysed inductive thematic analysis. Results Participants included three medical doctors, nine nurses, physiotherapists, six caregivers. Our analysis produced five main themes twelve subthemes: (i) nature (negative positive experiences); (ii) triggers (psychological distress, work-related psychosocial factors, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms moral distress); (iii) responses (iv) coping strategies (building nurturing resilience, fulfilment career obligation maladaptive response); (v) deterrents health-seeking (stigma fear breach confidentiality, prioritising patient-care over self-care ignorance, unawareness services) Conclusion provides important insights into faced by while caring for Namibia.
