Excessive exercise can lead to physical fatigue and disruption of the antioxidant system, resulting in neurological damage cognitive decline. Cordycepin, main component Cordyceps militaris, has anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective effects. In this study, anti-fatigue effect potential mechanism action cordycepin were investigated using a forced mouse model. The results showed that oral administration enhanced endurance, increased liver muscle glycogen content, simultaneously decreased serum levels lactic acid, lactate dehydrogenase, creatine kinase, blood urea nitrogen (p < 0.05). addition, had effects, increasing superoxide dismutase activity decreasing malondialdehyde (MDA) 0.01). vitro experiments further demonstrated effects cordycepin.
