There are few data on the clinical significance of coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) in asymptomatic type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. We performed a retrospective study to evaluate heart disease (CHD) screening patients with T2DM using CCTA and CHD risk stratification prediction.Data from 141 (58 ± 8 years, 57% males) without known symptoms suggestive who underwent were retrospectively analyzed. The classified into three subgroups based United Kingdom prospective (UKPDS) prediction. Seventy-four successively chosen as control group. segment involvement score (SIS), stenosis (SSS), coefficient (SC), severe proximal plaque (SPP) positive ratio CCTA-adapted Leaman (CT-LeSc) evaluated compared among groups.Compared group, moderate-high DM groups had higher scores SIS, SSS, SC, CT-LeSc, SPP (all p-values < 0.001), no difference was observed between low-risk group (p = 0.136, p 0.088, 0.0.067, 0.225, 1.000, respectively). Compared increased odds SIS > 3 [odds (OR) 6.557, 0.001; OR 4.455, 0.001, respectively], SSS 5 (OR 5.727, 5.144, respectively), CT-LeSc 8.7 3.780, 2.804, 0.007, obstructive 7.233, 5.787, respectively). The artery stenosis, distribution more extensive that CHD. can be effectively screened CCTA.

Owing to the paucity of information on clinical outcomes in female patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) relation comorbid disease burden, we explored differences their and identified predictive indicators. A total 3,419 AMI were stratified into two groups: Group (those zero or one diseases) (n=1,983) B five (n=1,436). Five conditions considered: hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, prior coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular accidents. The primary outcome was major adverse cardiac events (MACCEs). incidence MACCEs higher than both unadjusted propensity score-matched data. Among conditions, found be independently associated an increased MACCEs. Higher burden positively population AMI. Since hypertension mellitus are modifiable independent predictors after AMI, it may necessary focus optimal management blood pressure glucose levels improve cardiovascular outcomes.

Background: Hypertension (HTN) is a major risk factor for coronary heart diseases (CHDs) and stroke. Coronary computed tomography (CT) enables physicians to visualize the vascular system with high specificity sensitivity. Aim of work: To evaluate role CT angiography as diagnostic tool in assessment chest pain patients suffering from HTN. Patients Methods: This prospective study was carried out on 30 HTN presented acute pain. Heart rate should be < 70 beat/min bpm spontaneously or beta-blocker induced then subjected multi slice arteries. Results: 17 typical (56.7%). The rest were atypical (43.3%). distribution lesions was: most affected artery left anterior descending followed by right artery. Sixty percent had lesion while 35 % lesion. main 20 patients. circumflex 15 these ramus, D1, D2 least affected. non-coronary were: aortic aneurysm (1 patient), pulmonary embolism dissection patient). Conclusions: Computed (CTA) good fast reliable non-invasive aid hypertensive
