The purpose this study is evaluate whether the combination TyG ABSI better predict stroke. Abstract Background The association between triglyceride-glucose (TyG), related indices and heart disease remains a topic of debate in the current literature. Existing evidence Chinese people diabetes or non-diabetes patients regarding this is limited, highlighting need for further investigation. Methods A cohort study was conducted involving 7945 participants enrolled China Health Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS). incidence collected by following up 9 years. TyG, TyG with body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) were at baseline. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards models, restricted cubic spline (RCS), Kaplan-Meier (KM) curves, subgroup analysis sensitivity used to analyze associations risk national type 2 (T2D) non-T2D respectively. Results During 9-year follow-up, 1477 (18.6%) developed disease. Our found significant positive TyG-BMI, TyG-WC, TyG-WHtR all participants. adjusted hazard ratios (HR) highest quartile compared lowest were: TyG-BMI 1.73 (95% CI: 1.47–2.03), TyG-WC 1.46 1.24–1.71), 1.31 1.11–1.54). Chronic kidney disease (CKD) represents a significant global public health issue, with its incidence and prevalence escalating annually. Metabolic disorders are one of the major etiological factors CKD. This study investigates relationship between emerging metabolic index triglyceride-glucose body mass (TyG-BMI) onset Our enrolled 3,485 healthy participants (1,576 men 1,909 women), follow-up period 3 years. The primary outcome was emergence CKD, defined by an eGFR less than 60 mL/(min × 1.73 m2) or proteinuria. To examine TyG-BMI CKD relationship, we used univariate multivariate logistic regression analyses, stratified receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. After three-year follow-up, developed in 2% (n = 70) participants. Subjects were divided into three equal groups based on their values, from lowest to highest. adjusting for potential confounders, highest group exhibited multifactor-adjusted odds ratio (OR) 4.24 (95% CI 1.30–13.78, P 0.016) compared group. Stratified analyses revealed that association stronger among females, individuals younger years, those BMI ≥ 24 kg/m2. Purpose: Research suggests that insulin resistance (IR) is associated with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and depression. The use of insulin-based IR assessments complicated. Therefore, we explored the relationship between four non-insulin-based indices post-stroke depression (PSD). Patients Methods: A total 638 consecutive AIS patients were enrolled in this prospective cohort study. Clinical data collected to compute such as triglyceride glucose (TyG) index, glucose-body mass index (TyG-BMI), metabolic score (METS-IR), triglyceride/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (TG/HDL-C).
