The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between mean platelet volume (MPV) and risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), among women with without a history gestational (GDM). Eight thousand one hundred eighty-one parous '2007–2018 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES)' were classified into GDM non-GDM groups based on self-reported history. We investigated independent association MPV T2DM in these via multivariable regression analysis. A subgroup analysis was done for group. After comprehensive adjustment potential covariates, significant positive correlation observed (OR = 1.50, 95% CI 1.13–2.01, P 0.006). There linear GDM, each unit increase increasing by 50%. Subgroup interaction tests revealed stronger effect who had HbA1c ≥ 7%. is strongly associated incidence U.S. prior indicating that may be biomarker GDM.

Objective To investigate relationships between prognostic nutritional index (PNI) during pregnancy and risk of all-cause mortality (ACM) cardiovascular disease (CVD) in persons with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted using NHANES data from 2007 to 2018, weighted Cox regression models were established. Restricted cubic spline analysis used unveil associations PNI ACM CVD mortalities individuals GDM. Receiver operating characteristic curve employed for determination threshold value association mortality. Sensitivity performed verify the stability results. Results 734 GDM 7987 non-GDM included this study. In population, after adjusting different categorical variables, significantly negatively correlated risk. Subgroup showed that among populations no physical activity, moderate parity 1 or 2, negative correlation stronger than other subgroups. results stable correlations total Conclusion GDM, risk, especially 2. = 50.75 may be an effective affecting which help assessment timely intervention
