The current study aimed to determine the roles of pivotal and novel lncRNAs associated with cell cycle in occurrence development Colorectal cancer (CRC). To achieve this, TCGA-COAD project related CRC was downloaded, differential expression analysis performed identify differentially expressed lncRNAs, miRNAs, mRNAs. A cycle-associated lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network constructed, two were selected. Two subnetworks constructed for selected lncRNAs. Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analyses illustrated genes each sub-network. qPCR used validate levels tissues compared those adjacent normal tissues. identified 416 317 117 ceRNA subnetwork different pathways, including cellular senescence, DNA replication, human T-cell leukemia virus 1 infection, oocyte meiosis. bioinformatic results based on TCGA indicated dysregulation MIR29B2CHG HELLPAR, Moreover, confirmed ROCs curves revealed that both had acceptable specificity sensitivity as biomarkers. In conclusion, have potential be understood underlying molecular mechanisms influence CRC. Therefore, these can considered promising biomarkers diagnosis treatment

The interaction between cancer and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) poses significant challenges, particularly for immunocompromised individuals who are at heightened risk acute infections long-term complications. pandemic has exacerbated existing vulnerabilities in care by disrupting treatment protocols delaying diagnoses, leading to worsened health outcomes. This article emphasizes the importance of investigating potential impact severe respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) on progression highlights need effective strategies protect this high-risk population. Long-term consequences, including emergence long COVID, further emphasize ongoing surveillance comprehensive healthcare planning patients during after pandemics. A multifaceted approach is essential, incorporating vaccination, timely therapeutic interventions, sustained support with lingering symptoms. also discusses urges continued research into oncogenic risks associated SARS-CoV-2, which crucial enhancing our understanding broader implications COVID-19 informing public aimed safeguarding future Moreover, data collection development refined clinical guidelines vital improving patient outcomes preparing systems crises. Additionally, mechanisms SARS-CoV-2 may increase susceptibility, chronic inflammation, cellular senescence, immune dysregulation. Understanding these elucidating virus’s potential, among survivors infections. Ensuring continuity resilience global crises requires mitigate disruptions, enhance access screenings treatments, address specific challenges faced experiencing COVID.

Aging is a complex biological process characterized by gradual deterioration in physiological activities, contributing to an elevated risk of different age-associated malignancies, including cancer. The current review paper aims elucidate the association between hallmarks aging and parallel development Various cellular molecular mechanisms underlying such as senescence, genomic instability, telomere shortening play significant role accumulation genetic mutations disruption activities. It has also discussed immune system’s aging, indicating how age-linked dysfunction compromises body’s capacity recognize eradicate pre-tumorous cells, thus promoting cancer advancement. This examines affects tumor microenvironment, where age-related alterations stromal extracellular matrix factors lead conditions that promote growth proliferation. Furthermore, it discusses concept “accelerated aging” survivors, highlighting negative effects its therapy intensify process, resulting greater physical cognitive decline. explores prospect new therapies target aging-related processes ameliorate outcomes. Overall, underscores need for ongoing interdisciplinary research understand relationship cancer, ultimately aiming develop more effective prevention treatment approaches.
