Inflammatory responses and lipid metabolism make vital impacts on the development of gallstones. This study investigated relationship between gallstone disease (GSD) neutrophil-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHR) in American patients with The data analyzed were sourced from 2017–2020 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) comprised participants complete GSD NHR. NHR was evaluated weighted multivariable logistic regression analysis. Additionally, subset analyses, interaction tests, smoothed curve fitting, threshold effect analyses conducted. Among 7894 this study, prevalence 10.98%, average value 3.41 ± 0.06. fully adjusted results demonstrated an obvious positive association likelihood (OR = 1.09, 95% CI: 1.01, 1.16; P 0.0197). Consistency confirmed through tests across various subgroups, including those categorized by smoking status asthma. Furthermore, fitting revealed a nonlinear 2.86. shows to increased among Americans. It can act as easy cost-effective tool for early detection management individuals at risk GSD.

Postmenopausal women are more susceptible to stress urinary incontinence (SUI), and insulin resistance (IR) is closely related SUI. The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index an efficient metric for assessing IR. Investigating whether TyG its correlation indexes were correlated with SUI in postmenopausal was the aim of this research. Data from 2,132 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) included study analysis. Weighted multiple logistic regression used evaluate between nonlinear SUI, as well diagnostic efficacy investigated using smooth curve approach receiver operating characteristics. Through detailed subgroup analysis, stability generalization results confirmed. Of 26.87 million, 13.63 or 50.73%, suffered prevalence significantly higher fourth quartile TyG-BMI (OR = 1.93, 95% CI 1.13–2.84), TyG-WC 1.76, 1.23–2.51), TyG-WHtR 1.81, 1.28–2.55) compared first quartile. Among three models, always maintained a significant (Model 1:OR 1.30;Model 2:OR 1.33; Model 3:OR 1.24). Smooth fitting showed that not linearly (P > 0.05). Subgroup analysis further confirmed reliability applicability results. had greatest performance out four markers. In comparison TyG, among US, showing best effectiveness.

Abstract Background The triglyceride-glucose index (TyG) and its associated obesity indicators [TyG-body mass index(TyG-BMI), TyG-waist-height ratio(TyG-WHtR), TyG-waist circumference(TyG-WC)] are emerging tools for assessing insulin resistance. This study aimed to examine the association between TyG obesity-related risk of gallstone disease or first gallbladder surgery. Methods Individuals were selected from 2017–2020 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) database. associations TyG, TyG-WHtR, TyG-WC, TyG-BMI, surgery initially analyzed using weighted logistic regression models. Restricted cubic spline (RCS) plots receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves used analyze relationship Generalized additive models, smoothed curve fitting, linear applied assess TyG-WC age at Sensitivity analyses, including stratified interaction conducted identify specific populations potential interactions covariates indicators. Mediation analyses explored role ethnicity as a mediator TyG-WHtR Results In this study, significantly correlated with surgery, except which showed no significant correlation. A was observed (P-overall < 0.0001, P-nonlinear > 0.05). addition, demonstrated strongest performance in predicting negatively (β = -0.03, 95% CI: -0.04, -0.01). analysis indicated that more strongly other races (OR 3.13, 1.67, 5.86). race mediated CONCLUSION TyG- WC, TyG-BMI linearly gallstones addition WC most favourable may lead an earlier attention needs be paid effect
