Calenduloside E (CE) and chikusetsusaponin IVa (ChIVa) are triterpene saponins with multidirectional bioactivity. In this study, the contents of CE ChIVa were determined in roots, stems, leaves, fruits ten wild-growing species Amaranthaceae. To achieve optimal extraction conditions for both saponins, maceration, shaking-assisted ultrasound-assisted heat reflux compared. A sensitive, specific, rapid UPLC-MS/MS method was developed validated simultaneous quantification ChIVa. The results showed that coexisted most analyzed, except Ch. hybridum. For first time, presence noted L. polysperma, A. patula, B. bonus-henricus, O. rubra, glauca. Of highest content found fruit sagittata (13.15 mg/g dw), polysperma (12.20 album (10.0 roots strictum (5.52 7.77 dw, respectively). amount (7.84 dw) (6.54 dw). These saponin-abundant plant parts Amaranthaceae spp. may be considered convenient sources these bioactive saponins.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) represents a significant clinical challenge. Following SCI, the implementation of protective measures for neurons is critically important. Current applications hormone pulse therapy exhibit variable efficacy and considerable side effects, highlighting an urgent need therapeutic strategies. This study investigates pathological conditions ischemia hypoxia in SCI region, complemented by early transcriptome sequencing postinjury. Our findings suggest that targeting ferroptosis pivotal neuroprotection following SCI. Aiming at cascade effect mitochondrial damage leading to reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, along with extensive ROS-mediated lysosomal during signaling, we developed liposome-based system regulating iron metabolism─DTLS@CAT. innovative liposome designed specifically target neuronal mitochondria, effectively eliminate mitoROS, modulate complex interactions among metabolism, lysosomes, ROS facilitate recovery from

The high incidence and mortality rate of cardiac arrest (CA) establishes it as a critical clinical challenge in emergency medicine globally. Despite continuous advances advanced life support (ALS) technology, the prognosis for patients experiencing remains poor, with cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury (CIRI) being significant determinant adverse neurological outcomes increased mortality. Sirtuins (SIRTs) are class highly evolutionarily conserved NAD+-dependent histone deacylenzymes capable regulating expression various cytoprotective genes to play neuroprotective role CIRI. SIRTs mainly regulate levels downstream proteins such PGC 1-α, Nrf 2, NLRP 3, FoxOs, PINK 1 inhibit inflammatory response, attenuate oxidative stress, improve mitochondrial dysfunction, promote angiogenesis, apoptosis while reducing Natural active ingredients widely used protein level body because their multi-components, multi-pathway, multi-target, minimal toxic side effects. However, these naturally still face many challenges related drug targeting, pharmacokinetic properties, delivery. emergence vigorous development new delivery systems, nanoparticles, micromilk, exosomes, provide strong solving above problems. In context rapid molecular biology non-coding RNA (NcRNA), represented by miRNA LncRNA, offers great potential achieving gene-level precision medicine. multidisciplinary integration, combining biotechnology, omics technologies, artificial intelligence, material science will strongly deepening basic research expand application.
