Cancer is one of the main causes death worldwide. Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery are currently treatments choice for cancer. However, conventional therapies have their limitations, such as non-specificity, tumor recurrence toxicity to target cells. Recently, nanomaterials been considered therapeutic agents against This mainly due unique optical properties, biocompatibility, large surface area nanoscale size. These properties crucial they can affect biocompatibility uptake by cell, reducing efficacy. because nanoparticles be functionalized with biomolecules, become more biocompatible, which improves uptake, specifically targeted cancer cells, anticancer activity. In this review, we summarize some recent studies in aim increasing efficacy treatment.
