Antimicrobial resistance is already a major global health threat, contributing to nearly 5 million deaths annually. The rise of multidrug-resistant pathogens has made many infections increasingly difficult treat. This growing threat driven the search for alternative therapeutic approaches. Among most promising candidates are bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) and antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), which offer unique mechanisms action, potential synergistic effects, ability bypass conventional pathways. review summarizes current research on effects BEVs AMPs overcome resistance.
