The prominence of circular RNAs (circRNAs) has surged in cancer research due to their distinctive properties and impact on development. This review delves into the role circRNAs four key types: colorectal (CRC), gastric (GC), liver (HCC), lung (LUAD). focus lies potential as biomarkers drug targets. Our study analyses reported mentioned malignancies, examining nature, functions, targets, origins, contributions tumor enhancers or suppressors. approach involved assessing full-text reports PMC, utilizing keywords such "CircRNA" "Cancer types," coupled with bioinformatics, experimental assays, clinical investigations. Exclusions encompassed non-English publications, conference abstracts, letters, expert opinions. findings unveil 577 identified across these 124 CRC, 177 GC, 93 HCC, 183 LUAD. Mechanistic insights how modulate gene expression are explored, particularly interactions microRNAs RNA-binding proteins. Dysregulation various cancers diagnostic prognostic indicators synthesized. exploration extends targeting a novel therapy strategy, either through inhibiting oncogenic reinstating tumor-suppressive ones. article discusses challenges prospects harnessing for diagnostics therapies. These comprehensive hold promise advancing fostering development innovative therapies diagnostics.

Recent advancements in multi-omics technologies have provided unprecedented opportunities to identify biomarkers associated with prediabetes, offering novel insights into its diagnosis and management. This review synthesizes the latest findings on prediabetes from multiple omics domains, including genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiomics, radiomics. We explore how these elucidate molecular cellular mechanisms underlying analyze potential predictive value disease progression. Integrating data helps address limitations of traditional diagnostic methods, enabling early detection, personalized interventions, improved patient outcomes. However, challenges such as integration, standardization, clinical validation translation remain be resolved. Future research leveraging artificial intelligence machine learning is expected further enhance power technologies, contributing precision tailored management prediabetes.

Hesperetin, a flavonoid predominantly present in citrus fruits, exhibits significant intervention effects on both the initiation and progression of gastric cancer. However, specific mechanisms underlying this effect remain unclear. To investigate interventional role hesperetin N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG)-induced exosomes inducing carcinogenesis. Bioinformatics technology was used to identify critical molecular components hesperetin-mediated inhibition MNNG induced carcinogenesis through exosomal circular RNA. Biological experiments were conducted validate these findings. Exosomes derived from TGES-1 cells (TGES-1-EX) significantly enhanced proliferation, migration, invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), stemness GES-1 cells. Cancer, including gastric cancer, has become a serious disease that jeopardizes public life. Currently, the main treatment methods are surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. One of primary causes death for patients with cancer is drug resistance. Several mechanisms anticancer drugs resistance have been reported, changes in transport metabolism, mutations targets, DNA repair systems, inhibition cell apoptosis autophagy, stem cells, invasion migration. It becoming more widely known non-coding RNAs, like circRNAs, play critical role used to treat cancer. CircRNAs unique structure function related resistance, proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion. A clear understanding molecular mechanism circRNAs mediated will open new window management Therefore, this review, we summarize current finally discuss regulating development

Gastric cancer (GC) is a prevalent tumor in the digestive system, with around one million new cases reported annually, ranking it as third most common malignancy. Reducing pain key research focus. This study evaluates effect of nalbuphine on analgesic and expression factors patients after radical resection. To provide reference for postoperative analgesia methods. One hundred eight GC, admitted between January 2022 June 2024, underwent gastrectomy. They received controlled pump transverse abdominis muscle plane block, divided into two groups 54 each group. The control group sufentanil, while observation an analgesic. Postoperative effects, factor expression, adverse effects were compared. resting activity scores at 6, 12, 24 48 hours significantly lower than those Additionally, number presses consumption group; response rate was higher that (P < 0.05). prostaglandin E2, substance P, serotonin levels group, incidence reactions 5.56% 22.22% findings suggest enhances multimodal effectively improving effect, relieving active pain, reducing demonstrating its potential clinical application.
