Background: Delayed initiation of breastfeeding after birth can negatively impact maternal and newborn health, significantly increasing neonatal mortality. Due to the rising number cesarean deliveries, risk delayed is imminent. However, there limited evidence on among mothers who gave by section in Ethiopia. Thus, this study aims assess factors associated with public health facilities Gamo Gofa zones, south Methods: This multicenter, facility-based, cross-sectional was conducted across five hospitals zones that offer delivery services. A consecutive sampling technique, which involves selecting every eligible subject until desired sample size reached, employed include 416 underwent sections between March 20 May 21, 2023. Data collection performed through an interviewer-administered questionnaire chart reviews. The collected data were entered into Epi-Data Version 4.6 subsequently exported Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 26 analysis. To identify breastfeeding, a logistic regression model fitted, statistical significance determined at p value less than 0.05. Results: prevalence breast feeding 53.4% 95% CI: (48.5, 58.2). Being primiparous (AOR = 1.9, 1.1, 3.5), lack assistance from professional early 5.1, 3.0, 8.6), not applying skin-to-skin contact 3.3, 1.7, 6.4), receiving postcesarean counseling about 2.0, 1.6, 3.8) breastfeeding. Conclusions: found high had sections, significant including primiparity, assistance, absence contact, inadequate counseling. address this, targeted interventions are essential, enhancing antenatal care services, providing comprehensive counseling, promoting immediate ensuring support postdelivery.

Pneumonia is the leading cause of child morbidity and mortality accounts for 5.6 million under-five deaths. has a significant impact on quality life, country's economy, survival children. Therefore, this study aimed to develop data-driven predictive model using machine learning algorithms predict pneumonia stratify determinant factors among children aged 6-23 months in Ethiopia. A total 2035 samples were used from 2016 Ethiopian Demographic Health Survey dataset. Jupyter Notebook Anaconda Navigators was data management analysis. Important libraries such as Pandas, Seaborn, Numpy imported Python. The pre-processed into training testing dataset with 4:1 ratio, tenfold cross-validation reduce bias enhance models' performance. Background Delayed breastfeeding initiation is a significant public health concern, and reducing the proportion of delayed in East Africa key strategy for lowering Child Mortality rate. However, there limited evidence on this issue assessed using advanced models. Therefore, study aimed to assess prediction associated factors among women with less than 2 months child machine learning approach. Methods A community-based, cross-sectional was conducted most recent Demographic Health Survey (DHS) dataset covering years 2011 2021.
