Background
Early
childhood
is
a
critical
period
during
which
patterns

movement
behaviors

Abstract
Background
Dissemination
is
a
critical
element
of
the
knowledge
translation
pathway,

Objective:
African
Americans
(AAs)

cancer

die

Community
Health
Workers
(CHWs)
are
members
of
healthcare
teams
that
integrated

often
share
language,
beliefs,

experiences
with
their
communities.

use
formal

social
networks

promote
healthy

more
resilient
networks.

propose
a
framework

CHW
interventions

Improving
the
reach
of
existing
lifestyle
interventions
focused
on
health
promotion,
disease
prevention,
and
self-management
