Background Early childhood is a critical period during which patterns of movement behaviors are formed. The World Health Organization had endorsed guidelines for physical activity, sedentary behavior and sleep over 24-h time period, been adopted by the Center Protection Hong Kong. This paper reports on stakeholder engagements that were conducted to inform design strategies disseminate in early education (ECE) settings. Methods Using mixed-methods study design, we sought (a) assess stakeholders' levels awareness knowledge Kong young children (b) identify factors influence uptake said guidelines. We an online survey teachers ( N =314), twelve focus groups involving = 18) parents 18), individual interviews key informants 7) domestic workers who provide care preschool-aged 7). Descriptive statistics used quantitative data, thematic analysis was performed qualitative data using inductive semantic approach following realist framework. Findings Our findings show aware children, but their specific deficient; limited Uptake enabled parent engagement, activities ECE centers, home-school cooperation, community children. challenges include poverty parents, local curriculum requirements, spaces, social values, pandemic-related restrictions. Abstract Background Dissemination is a critical element of the knowledge translation pathway, and necessary step to ensure research evidence adopted implemented by key end users in order improve health outcomes. However, evidence-based guidance inform dissemination activities limited. This scoping review aimed identify describe scientific literature examining strategies disseminate public related prevention non-communicable diseases. Methods Medline, PsycInfo EBSCO Search Ultimate were searched May 2021 for studies published between January 2000 search date that reported on evidence, within context Studies synthesised according four components Brownson colleagues’ Model Research (source, message, channel audience), as well study design. Results Of 107 included studies, only 14% (n = 15) directly tested using experimental designs. The remainder primarily preferences different populations, or outcomes such awareness, intentions adopt following dissemination. Evidence diet, physical activity and/or obesity was most disseminated topic. Researchers source over half findings/knowledge summaries more frequently message compared guidelines an program/intervention. A broad range channels utilised, although peer-reviewed publications/conferences presentations/workshops predominated. Practitioners commonly target audience. Conclusions There significant gap peer reviewed literature, with few analyse evaluate effect sources, messages audiences determinants uptake prevention. Abstract Background Non-pharmacological dementia research products, such as social and behavioural interventions, are generated in traditional university settings. These often experience challenges to impact practices that they were developed for. The Netherlands established five specialized academic health science centres, referred Alzheimer Centres, structurally coordinate facilitate the utilization of knowledge. This study leverages implementation systematically explore strategies used by researchers from each Centre, on basis “knowledge-to-action” (KTA) framework includes knowledge creation, adaptation, dissemination implementation. Methods Individual semi-structured qualitative interviews conducted with 29 respondents across Centres Netherlands. Participants selected through purposive (snowball) sampling. Interviews in-person virtually Microsoft Teams, all audio-recorded transcribed verbatim. Data analysis was guided dimensions KTA framework. Result There a high variation bring non-pharmacological into practice. Selected Centre influenced typology products produced Centres’ organizational heritage. creation adaptation phases mainly facilitated funders’ guidance towards product co-creation patients implementing organizations. Dissemination utilizing support university-based technology transfer offices valorization establishing strategically leveraging formal infrastructure, public–private partnerships professional collaborative networks. Conclusions Successful requires evolving researcher competencies meet environmental demands facilitating end-users partners. Understanding external determinants influencing Dutch ecosystem is crucial for capacity-building aligning cross-sector agendas. appears reveal intricacies utilization, guiding future studies employed various contexts.

Objective: African Americans (AAs) carry the largest burden for almost every type of cancer in US and are also more likely to die from cancer. Approximately 10% cancers can be explained by a hereditary factor detected earlier. Many AAs, however, have inequitable access risk assessment (HCRA) tools information, further exacerbating disparities rates. Innovative communication strategies promote community-based HCRA information promise as means encouraging optimal primary screening among AAs. The current pilot study followed participatory process where researchers engaged with Community Advisory Board (CAB) explore how Communication Asset Mapping (CAM) could assist lay health advisors dissemination evidence-based HC/RA within AA faith communities. Methods: research team CAB conducted exploratory community-engaged group discussions residents (n = 21) guided Infrastructure Theory, used mapping inform development CAM strategy. Results: Through textual analysis, following conclusions were reached: (1) locations (e.g., community centers) specified neighborhood networks should representatives who trusted ambassadors dissemination; (2) member voices fully represent network community-engagement process; (3) well-known frequented geographic provide true representation participants' neighborhoods create robust concerning HCRA. Conclusions: appreciated engagement they felt that its impact was limited due lack their identify important resources dissemination. Background Community access to evidence-based information is critical, especially during a pandemic, as it can impact knowledge and adoption of health behaviors that affect disparities. The field dissemination implementation (D&I) science ideally positioned address this need through its focus on reducing the research-to-practice gap improved distribution information. purpose paper describe creation weekly webinar series about COVID-19 directed toward community members, extent which webinars were found useful increased awareness services. Lessons learned strategy well selection involvement trusted credible messengers (TCMs) share are discussed. Method Data derived from Zoom attendance reports, YouTube views, survey responses collected over 133 weeks March 20, 2020 September 30, 2022. Results reached minimum 877 unique within-webinar participants, representing more than 9,190 in-webinar participant hours an additional 17,303 views. A consistent base attendees (e.g., service providers, members) reported increasing levels satisfaction utility time. Conclusions This study supports use disseminate evidence-based, locally relevant TCMs improve resource utility.

Abstract Background Effective communication is crucial during pandemics to mitigate fear and promote acceptance of public health measures. However, the COVID-19 pandemic revealed significant challenges, including an overwhelming volume scientific information, poor quality control, a rise in false or misleading data. Peer-reviewed publications often faced criticism for fast-tracked review processes, with pre-prints contributing increased retraction rate. These issues undermined trust implementation evidence-based Methods The Horizon2020 ORCHESTRA project developed Global Guidance Group (CGGG), external expert evaluation mechanism, critically assess ensure dissemination accurate relevant findings. CGGG employed Delphi method systematically achieve consensus on research outputs. Findings were tailored stakeholders such as policymakers, community, general public. Results evaluated over 100 peer-reviewed publications, achieving average impact factor 8.7 ensuring use enhanced rigor process improved targeting strategies, addressing gaps engagement pandemic. Conclusions project’s experience highlights value evaluation, supported by consensus-building approaches like method, crises. Introduction Improving the reach of existing lifestyle interventions focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management delivered in community or clinical settings has potential to increase public impact these interventions. However, little is known about overall success recruitment strategies specification strategy components including details how, through which channel, by whom are enacted. Methods We conducted a scoping review with guidance from JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis. For transparency reproducibility, we adhered PRISMA-S PRISMA-ScR guidelines reporting literature searches reviews. Our eligibility criteria included studies that reported improve (enrollment number, participation rate, representativeness participants) children adults worldwide. Recruitment non-lifestyle interventions, such as pharmaceutical trials, were excluded. Databases Medline (Ovid), Embase ( embase.com ), CINAHL Complete (Ebscohost), APA PsycINFO Dissertation Theses Global (ProQuest). Database search results retrieved March 2–3, 2023. Results From total 9,712 references, 98 included. Eight compared using randomized controlled trial 90 evaluations/quasi-experiments reach.
