Oxygen is the most commonly used drug and in treatment of hypoxaemia. Like any other drug, it should be prescribed appropriately with correct dose via device based on individual needs. Unmonitored unrestricted use oxygen can harmful to patients. The British Thoracic Society has set guidelines about indication use, target goals how we titrate according needs A quality improvement project was undertaken aim improving prescription among health personnel appropriate delivery patients an emergency department at a national referral hospital Bhutan for period 12 weeks. Our team implemented five Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles data analysis each cycle, following discussions after reviewing previous projects. intervention education sensitisation frequent reminders posters, emails group messages were effective compliance rates. doctors’ improved from 20% 82% nurses’ record 22% 83%, receiving consistent valid 34% 86%.

: High-flow nasal therapy (HFNT) has been shown to reduce exacerbations of COPD and some evidence displays benefits in non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFB) patients. The present study aimed compare the effectiveness 12 months home HFNT on annual exacerbation rate between mild/moderate severe NCFB patients, classified by severity index (BSI). Secondary outcomes were evaluation dyspnea, pulmonary function, sputum cultures both groups.
