A weight-inclusive approach to health involves the promotion of intuitive eating, i.e., individual’s ability be aware their physiological hunger and satiety cues determine when how much eat, while paying attention certain foods affect body. The second version Intuitive Eating Scale (IES-2) evaluates four interrelated traits eating: Unconditional Permission Eat (UPE), for Physical rather than emotional Reasons (EPR), Reliance on internal Hunger/Satiety Cues (RHSC), Body–Food Choice Congruence (BFCC). In this study, our aim was evaluate psychometric properties a Mexican Spanish adaptation IES-2 pregnant women examine relationship between eating maternal sociodemographic characteristics. sample 514 answered questionnaire. We determined quality, validity, reliability through descriptive measures, frequency distributions, intra-class correlations, extreme answer group comparison each item, eliminating those with weak technical properties. then performed an exploratory principal component analysis confirmatory factor analysis. Last, we analyzed association reproductive variables correlation tests multivariable linear regressions. Psychometric confirmed validity adaptation, which comprised 18 out 23 original items. Abstract Objective Intuitive eating is an behavior that has recently come to use mainly in the young population. Knowing Lebanese cultural diet differs from other countries, purpose of this study was investigate if there a relationship between self-esteem, interoceptive awareness, and motivation for healthy sample adults using Latent Profile Analysis approach. Design Cross-sectional study. Setting governorates. Participants 359 participants enrolled (mean age: 22.75 ± 7.04 years, 40.1% males), through convenience sampling several were asked fill anonymously following scales: The Eating Scale (IES-2), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Multidimensional Assessment Interoceptive Awareness (MAIA), Motivation Healthy (MHES). Results Our findings revealed four profiles: profile 1 ( n = 67; 18.66%) characterized by high SE intermediate awareness eating; 2 86; 23.97%) presented SE, 3 23.96%) class 4 108; 30.08) described low One-way analysis variance did not observe significant difference profiles based on intuitive (F 1.810; p 0.145; ɳp2 0.015). Abstract Background Through the years, studying negative behaviors of worldwide population seized spotlight from many researchers who focused on building scales in order measure level worries, fear and even depression such stressed individuals. By definition, “Future anxiety” (FA) is fueled by thoughts leading to intense unknown future events. The Dark Future scale (DFS) measures anxiety experienced towards future. Our aim was examine psychometric properties a novel Arabic translation DFS. Methods A sample 684 Arabic-speaking young adults (65.6% women) filled DFS, TEMPS-M (temperaments) DASS-8 (psychological distress). Results Confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) supported unidimensional model DFS score, with all 5 items retained. This had good reliability. Moreover, concurrent validity demonstrated significant associations between scores psychological distress, depressive, cyclothymic, irritable anxious temperament. Scores achieved scalar invariance across gender, women having greater exposure about Conclusion Overall, these findings led conclusion that psychometrically valid tool for assessment FA. brief, reliable easy apply would help psychology psychiatry assessing

Lebanese adolescents aged between 14 18 years (N = 793, mean age 16.08 ± 1.74 years, 62.4% females) were recruited using online questionnaire snowball sampling technique. Results Confirmatory Factor Analysis indicated that fit three-factor model CPS scores satisfactory: χ2/df 131.31/51 2.58, RMSEA .045 (90% CI .035, .054), SRMR .034, CFI .976, TLI .969. Internal reliability excellent (ω .87; α .86). Measurement invariance across sex groups established at configural, metric, scalar levels. No significant difference found males females terms (37.20 7.93 vs 37.76 7.92, t(791) − .97, p .334). total score significantly associated with lower irritability (r .66; < .001), higher wellbeing .51; .001) depression-happiness .43; thus attesting good concurrent validity.
