This
study
aimed
to
investigate
the
relationships
between
hoarding
behaviors,
autism
characteristics,
and
demographic
factors
in
adults
diagnosed
with
high-functioning
ASD
(Autism
Spectrum
Disorder).
A
total
of
112
adults,
aged
18–35,
completed
self-reported
assessments
on
(Savings
Inventory-Revised;
SI-R)
traits
(Autism-Spectrum
Quotient;
AQ).
Additionally,
data
was
gathered.
Correlation
regression
analyses
were
performed.
The
findings
revealed
positive
correlations
overall
traits.
Autism
quotient
scores
accounted
for
24%
variance
inventory
scores.
Higher
AQ
associated
increased
SI-R
Specific
subscales
linked
particular
subscales.
Gender,
age,
education
level,
employment
status
connected
assessment
multiple
analysis
that
variables
19%
severity.
Gender
found
moderate
impact
age
behaviors.
Significant
associations
identified
tendencies
ASD.
Demographic
also
played
a
role
symptom
presentation.
These
shed
light
