In view of enhancing secondary metabolites biosynthesis in Arnica montana through elicitation, comprehensive studies are needed to fully understand the molecular background biosynthetic pathways this species. Analysis transcriptional changes via RT-qPCR technique might shed light on mechanisms underlying plant reaction elicitors. This study aimed identify reference genes which stably expressed under methyl jasmonate, salicylic acid, and yeast extract treatment provide basis for current future gene expression important medicinal plant. The stability nine candidate was evaluated using four widely used algorithms (geNorm, NormFinder, BestKeeper, ΔCt method). A analysis obtained results showed that most pair elicitation conditions ATP-synthase ACT. PP2A TUBb were least stable candidates as they presented substantial variation transcript levels response elicitor agents. For validation purposes, profile PAL, 4CL HQT analyzed. Substantial induction two these confirmed after jasmonate treatment. combination with ACT identified best endogenous controls data normalization A. montana. research outcomes associated arnica's contribute understanding metabolism regulation plants.
