Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine effects classroom-level and student-level factors on student engagement in the context a higher education system vertically differentiated into research, applied comprehensive university types. Design/methodology/approach used cross-sectional multilevel design explain based class variables. Specifically, collects data from 656 students 61 randomly selected teachers at both levels uses modeling relationship patterns. Findings results show that institutions vary significantly scores. The current research aims to examine the factors that influence student engagement after COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 COVID-19 crisis forced universities to make a dramatic shift emergency remote education (ERE). While the urgency of pandemic is gone, schools continue implementing ERE, but more often on short-notice, short-term basis in response various situations. This research examines students’ suggestions for improving university transitions ERE and applies them post-pandemic use ERE. Qualitative thematic analysis was used analyze responses an open-ended survey question answered by 2,751 students at large Southeastern U.S. university. Responses identified main concerns as Grades Grading (38%), Better University Instructor Preparation (23%), Improved Learning Experience (18%), Meeting Student Needs (12%), No Suggestions (9%). study found that reducing uncertainty felt about ERE’s impact grades, course content, class schedules, assignments, communication with instructors would improve their online learning experience. Recommendations suggest preemptive steps can take education.

Este libro surge para dar respuesta a la urgente necesidad de incrementar los niveles motivación y participación estudiantes en el ámbito universitario, concretamente algunos Grados que oferta Escuela Técnica Superior Ingeniería Telecomunicación (ETSIT) Universidad Málaga relacionados con Telecomunicación. La disminución estudiantes, tal como se viene observando desde hace unos años, ha acentuado aún más período enseñanza virtual debido emergencia COVID-19. Ante este desafío, propone solución innovadora creación e implementación una nueva estrategia aprendizaje activo colaborativo basa generación contenido multimedia por parte buscando siempre un mayor calidad, especialmente asignaturas obligatorias Grado. Al mismo tiempo, sin duda pueden desarrollar fortalecer habilidades transversales trabajo equipo, comunicación oral pensamiento crítico creativo, todas esenciales potencial carrera profesional. En experimento participaron manera voluntaria diversas titulaciones grupos edad. Los resultados del revelan alto nivel satisfacción esta éxito logro objetivo principal, concluyendo grado madurez responsabilidad académica involucrados presenta impacto significativo. Se espera no solo sea fuente información valiosa, sino también inspiración todos aquellos comprometidos mejora educación universitaria.
