With the opportunities and challenges stemming from artificial intelligence developments its integration into society, AI literacy becomes a key concern. Utilizing quality instruments is crucial for understanding promoting development. This systematic review assessed of scales using COSMIN tool aiming to aid researchers in choosing assessment. identified 22 studies validating 16 targeting various populations including general population, higher education students, secondary teachers. Overall, demonstrated good structural validity internal consistency. On other hand, only few have been tested content validity, reliability, construct responsiveness. None cross-cultural measurement error. Most did not report any interpretability indicators almost none had raw data available. There are 3 performance-based scale available, compared 13 self-report scales.

In this paper, the effects of rapid advancement generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) in higher education (HE) are discussed. A mixed exploratory research approach was employed to understand these impacts, combining analysis current trends and students’ perceptions Gen AI tools academia. Through bibliometric systematic literature review, 64 publications (indexed SCOPUS Web Science databases) were examined, highlighting AI’s disruptive effect on pedagogical aspects HE. The impacts identified by compared with held computer science students two different HE institutions (HEIs) topic. An study developed based application a questionnaire group 112 students. results suggest that while can enhance academic work learning feedback, it requires appropriate support foster critical, ethical, digital literacy competencies. Students demonstrate awareness both risks benefits associated settings. concludes failing recognize effectively use impedes educational progress adequate preparation citizens workers think act an AI-mediated world.

This investigation aimed to ascertain latent profiles of university students predicated on fundamental factors influencing their intentions acquire knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI). The study scrutinized four dimensions: supportive social norms, facilitating conditions, self-efficacy AI learning, and perceived utility AI. Through the utilization profile analysis (LPA), endeavored unveil distinct subgroups delineated by unique amalgamations these factors. was carried out with a cohort 391 from diverse academic disciplines. LPA disclosed five students: Cautious Participants, Enthusiastic Advocates, Reserved Skeptics, Pragmatic Acceptors, Disengaged Critics. These categories showed somewhat different goals learn AI; Advocates highest intention while Critics lowest. findings enhance growing corpus research education higher providing sophisticated variation among about attitudes preparedness Subgroups show that learners need educational strategies interventions meet needs attitudes. is changing many fields, therefore college must it prepare for it. advance impact curriculum policy.

Abstract Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) holds promise for enhancing the educational experience by providing personalized feedback and interactive simulations. While its integration into classrooms would improve education, concerns about how students may use AI in class has prompted research on perceptions related to intention implement GAI, such as perceived benefits, limitations associated risks teaching learning practices. This study examines of GAI among 366 United Arab Emirates based survey results. To do that, initially factor analysis was utilized identify relevant scales, followed comparing mean values each scale extent agreement with statement regarding students' willingness ChatGPT. The revealed a high awareness respondents limitations, using confirms that potential benefits is ChatGPT future.
