Abstract Background and Objectives Providing preferred leisure activities appears to be an important approach support empower people receiving adult day services (ADS) allowing them age in place. To provide the conceptualization for a preference instrument, we actively involved ADS exploring content structure of their preferences activities. Research Design Methods We chose concept mapping methodology 16 ADS. systematically reviewed literature conducted semistructured interviews generate set 80 preferences. Analysis structuring these resulted 3-dimensional cube with 12 clusters. A graphical representation was then interpreted, clusters were labeled. Results Our divides into following: 1. Take trip, 2. Revel memories catch up on news (most important), 3. Do something yourself come rest, 4. Play intelligence parlor games, 5. Make/produce try alone or group, 6. Keep fit cheer others sports (least 7. Learn, educate, share knowledge, 8. Have contact other people, 9. Attend at entertainment, cultural, amusement events, 10. Enjoy music, your homeland, countries, 11. Engage outdoor activities, 12. Get involved, offer support, companionship. Discussion Implications results may lead development instruments thus opens field further research theory building

Dementia-friendly hospitals are increasingly discussed in healthcare, politics, research and society as a way to improve hospital stays for people with dementia. However, the perspective of dementia is often underrepresented, current definitions concepts primarily based on expertise healthcare professionals. To identify characteristics dementia-friendly from A qualitative design embedded case study was used. We conducted 15 semi-structured interviews during their stay. The were analysed using reflexive thematic analysis an inductive approach.
