Abstract The interconnection between the consequences of digital technologies and their impact on triple bottom line sustainability in banking industry has emerged as a dynamic, multidisciplinary, eclectic research area global significance. Nevertheless, applying systematic literature network analysis this field not yet been attempted. Therefore, paper aims to investigate academic by integrating different knowledge systems. To conduct comprehensive analysis, study employed contextualized review bibliometric approaches method make inferences from 154 publications obtained Scopus Web Science databases for years 2012–2024 using biblioshiny tool. study’s findings exhibited noticeable upsurge trends last five years. With 64 publications, 2023 was most productive year, 2018 had influence with 188 citations. China, Italy, Spain, Egypt, Malaysia were countries regarding citation performance. This highlights counterintuitive connection digitalization, financial inclusion, sustainability, fintech, sustainable development providing support recent reflect current developments field. themes encountered here are crucial regulators practitioners who aim capitalize mutually reinforcing nature two phenomena industry.

Purpose The main objective of this research is to analyze the dynamics academic on digital entrepreneurship and innovation, unveiling trends developed in last decade. Design/methodology/approach analysis has been carried out using a dual methodological approach comprising bibliometric methods an innovative three-level systematic review, involving most used keywords, co-occurrence network keywords traditional review abstracts 1713 peer-reviewed articles that make up database under study, with aim revealing discussing important period analyzed. Findings results reveal seven major underscore fundamental role platforms democratizing enabling more inclusive collaborative environment wherein startups, established firms, academia government entities converge drive technological advancements societal progress. This research expands and updates a previous analysis of social entrepreneurship, incorporating the academic literature published between 2017 2024. Using Web Science database Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) technique, 1262 articles were analyzed, organized into three time periods (2017–2018, 2019–2021, 2022–2024). The results show clear evolution field, where sustainability, digitization, resilience emerge as fundamental axes. Compared to original research, which identified convergence third sector corporate responsibility (CSR), this reveals consolidation hybrid models, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sustainability is positioned transverse axis, integrating economic, social, environmental objectives. Digital transformation, driven by pandemic, has facilitated scalability, organizational efficiency, impact measurement, but also poses challenges in terms technological equity. In addition, community takes center stage an adaptive response global crises.
